Why developers pick it
What Claude is good at.
Follows your rules
Claude is especially good at sticking to project rules, style guides and conventions you keep in your rules folder.
Long agent runs
Plan, edit, run tests, fix and repeat. Claude stays on task across dozens of steps without losing the thread.
Careful diffs
Edits tend to be small and targeted, which makes reviewing the agent's work much faster.
How Auto uses Claude. Auto sends most multi-file agent tasks to Claude Sonnet and escalates to Claude Opus when a task needs deeper reasoning. How Auto chooses.
FAQ
Claude in Flintr, answered.
Is Claude included in Flintr Pro?
Yes. Every paid plan includes model usage that you can spend on any model, including Claude Opus, Claude Sonnet, Claude Haiku. Hobby includes limited access to fast models.
How much does Claude cost in Flintr?
Requests first draw from your plan's included usage. After that they're billed at Anthropic's published per-token list price with no markup. The cost of every request is shown in the editor.
Can I use my own Anthropic API key?
Yes. Add your key in settings and choose whether Claude requests use your key or your included usage. Requests on your own key never count against your plan.
Will Anthropic train on my code?
No. Privacy mode is on by default and we have zero-data-retention agreements with every model provider, including Anthropic. Your code isn't stored or used for training.
Which Claude model should I pin?
Pin Claude Sonnet for everyday agent work. Switch to Claude Opus for large refactors or design questions, where the extra reasoning pays for itself. Use Claude Haiku when speed matters more than depth.
